Look It Up!

When we were kids and asked our parents questions about spelling or punctuation or grammar, frequently the answer we'd get was "Look it up!" I am in the process of creating a series of  Look It Up files, which will be added to this site as they are completed.  Look It Up! topics will cover, in a simple format, a number of those pesky questions, such as similar words and homonyms (e.g., ensure, insure, assure), when to use which and when to use that (or who and whom, he and him, etc.), using commas (and a few other punctuation marks appropriately). I welcome your comments or suggestions for additions.

Check back now and then for the latest additions (although I make no promises about when they will appear).
